Denis Yip

Denis Yip is President of EMC Greater China. EMC is the world leader in products, services, and solutions for information management and storage that help organizations extract the maximum value from their information, at the lowest total cost, at every point in the information lifecycle.

As EMC's senior executive in Greater China, Yip is responsible for managing EMC's overall business operations in mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Reporting to Steven Leonard, EMC's President, Asia Pacific/Japan, Yip takes lead to drive EMC's growth and leadership, to enhance partner and channel relationships, and further product development throughout the region.

Prior to joining EMC, Yip managed the Asia Pacific storage division of IBM. He has more than 15 years of worldwide industry experience in information management, software and global sales and services, including the United States, Asia Pacific/Japan and China. Yip has worked for seven years in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou.

Yip holds a bachelor and master's degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley. He also holds a MBA degree from Golden Gate University.
