Following the establishment of the Shanghai Center, EMC China COE (Beijing) was established in the Tsinghua Science Park in July 2007. Mr. Joe Tucci officially unveiled the Center in November 2007. Beijing Center provides an additional location option for talented engineers who come to work for EMC.

Shanghai
In March 2006, the planning for the Shanghai COE started. Eight months later, Mr. Joe Tucci, Chairman, President and CEO of EMC Corporation hosted the opening ceremony for the Center in Shanghai. The Center moved to a new location at the Knowledge and Innovation Community of Yangpu, Shanghai in November 2007.
