Duties

As a senior member of our software engineering team your duties include designing, writing code, developing and executing testing, debugging and troubleshooting for UNIX/Linux platforms and documenting work and results. This requires strong experience and skills in UNIX application code.

Qualifications Required (※Skill Set§):

6+ years of professional software development experience in UNIX/Linux environment

Proficiency in C, C++

Familiarity with Unix/Linux development environments. Excellent debugging skills a plus .

Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.

Solid background in computer science & engineering principles. Experience with computing fundamentals including: data structures, design patterns, network communication and multi-threading

Solid written & verbal communication skills. Ability to work well in team environments.

B.S., Computer Science or equivalent; MS preferred

Desirable Qualifications:

UNIX file system and NFS internal

Mainframe (Z/OS) experience

Windows working knowledge a plus

Knowledge of EMC Storage Platforms
